Abstract:<\/strong> This study focuses on a group of stamped Rhodian amphorae housed in the Silifke Museum (Mersin, T\u00fcrkiye) from archaeological and epigraphic perspectives. During the Hellenistic Period, Rhodes emerged as a dominant commercial power in the Mediterranean, distinguished by a highly standardized and systematically organized stamping practice that remained in use from the late 4th century BCE until the mid 1st century BCE. The research concentrates on the identification and chronological assessment of the eponyms and fabricants recorded on the stamps. By cross-referencing the information gathered from the stamps with established corpora and digital databases, the study establishes a refined chronological framework for the assemblage. The results indicate that a substantial proportion of the amphorae and handles are dated to the 2nd century BCE, corresponding to the peak phase of Rhodian commercial activity. The principal contribution of this paper lies in proposing a new association between an eponym and a fabricant, not recorded in the existing scholarly literature. This new pairing offers valuable insights into the organization of Rhodian workshops and the administrative mechanisms governing amphora production. Furthermore, by presenting a local museum collection to the international scholarly com\u00acmunity, this study contributes to the refinement of the chronological and prosopographical frameworks essential for a more nuanced understanding of the Hellenistic economy.<\/p>\n

Bu makalenin temel katk\u0131s\u0131, mevcut akademik literat\u00fcrde yer almayan, bir y\u00f6netici\/eponym ile bir \u00fcretici aras\u0131nda yeni bir ba\u011flant\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6nerilmesidir. Bu yeni ba\u011flant\u0131, Rhodos\u2019ta yer alan amphora \u00fcretim at\u00f6lyelerinin organizasyonu ve amphora \u00fcretimini y\u00f6neten idari mekanizmalar hakk\u0131nda de\u011ferli bilgiler sunmaktad\u0131r. Dahas\u0131, bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma yerel bir m\u00fcze koleksiyonunu uluslararas\u0131 akademik camiaya sunarak, Hellenistik ekonominin daha detayl\u0131 bir \u015fekilde kavranmas\u0131 i\u00e7in elzem olan kronolojik ve prosopografik \u00e7er\u00e7evelerin geli\u015ftirilmesine katk\u0131 sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n
