Abstract: <\/strong>This study presents three inscriptions from Phaselis. The first, a fragmentary limestone statue base discovered west of Hadrianus\u2019s Gate during the 2017 excavation season, is tentatively attributed to Emperor Marcus Aurelius. Although the imperial titulature is only partially preserved, paleographic analysis points to similarities to a securely dated dedication to Lucius Verus discovered in proximate context, suggesting a possible attribution to the period of joint rule (166-169 CE). The second inscription, documented in 2012 near the acropolis gateway, preserves two chronologically distinct epigraphic phases. Phase A comprises an original eighteen-line carved honorific text for Aurelia Apphia, a member of the Phaselite civic elite who served as priestess of the Roman Imperial Cult and endowed the Palladeios Agon and associated prize competition (themis). The dedicator is restored as Apion, whose precise relation\u00adship to Apphia remains uncertain. Phase B consists of painted inscription (dipinto) preserved in five lines executed over plaster and fresco decoration, identified as a biblical citation from the Gospel of John (1:1, 1:3), reflecting Christian appropriation during Late Antiquity. The monument\u2019s tertiary incorporation into the acropolis fortification walls attests to profound urban transformations at Phaselis during the Late Antique Period, providing critical evidence for civic benefaction, religious change, and spatial reconfiguration.<\/p>\n

Adayan ki\u015fi, Apphia ile kesin ili\u015fkisi belirsiz olan Apion olarak restore edilmi\u015ftir. Evre B, s\u0131va ve fresko dekorasyonu \u00fczerine uygulanm\u0131\u015f ve be\u015f sat\u0131r\u0131 korunmu\u015f boyal\u0131 bir yaz\u0131ttan (dipinto) olu\u015fmakta ve Yuhanna \u0130ncili\u2019nden (1:1, 1:3) bir al\u0131nt\u0131 olarak tan\u0131m\u00adlanmaktad\u0131r. Bu durum Ge\u00e7 Antik\u00e7a\u011f\u2019da Hristiyan temell\u00fck\u00fcn\u00fc yans\u0131tmaktad\u0131r. An\u0131t\u0131n akropolis tahkimat duvarlar\u0131na \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fcl olarak dahil edilmesi, Phaselis\u2019te Ge\u00e7 Antik\u00e7a\u011f\u2019da ya\u015fanan derin kentsel d\u00f6\u00adn\u00fc\u015f\u00fcmlere tan\u0131kl\u0131k etmekte ve sivil ba\u011f\u0131\u015f, dinsel de\u011fi\u015fim ve mek\u00e2nsal yeniden yap\u0131lanma i\u00e7in kritik kan\u0131t sa\u011flamaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n
