Abstract:<\/strong> The aim of this article is to revise and re-edit an inscription dating to the Roman Imperial Period found in the ancient city of Rhodiapolis, situated in the Kumluca district of Antalya province, Turkey. The inscription, which is a dedication by Herakleitos of Rhodiapolis, was found in the ancient city of Rhodiapolis, in the southeast of Teke Peninsula, Lycia in antiquity. Rhodiapolis, a site termed by locals \u201cGavuristan\u2019\u2019, was a member of the ancient Lycian League. Herakleitos, who was a priest, doctor, poet as well as a philosopher, was a citizen of Rhodiapolis whose fame exceeded the boundaries of this small town. He was known and honoured in some of the most important cities of the empire. The inscription in question, which is now lost, is yet another dedication by Herakleitos himself, which states that he had built a temple and erected statues of gods and goddesses.<\/p>\n

\u00d6z:<\/strong> Bu makalenin amac\u0131, Antalya ili Kumluca il\u00e7esi s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131nda yer alan Rhodiapolis antik kentinde bulunan ve Roma \u0130mparatorluk D\u00f6nemi\u2019ne tarihlendirilen bir yaz\u0131t\u0131 yeniden de\u011ferlendirmeye almakt\u0131r. Rhodiapolisli Herakleitos’un ada\u011f\u0131 olan yaz\u0131t, antik\u00e7a\u011fda Lykia olarak bilinen Teke Yar\u0131madas\u0131’n\u0131n g\u00fcneydo\u011fusundaki Rho\u00addiapolis antik kentinde bulunmu\u015ftur. Yerel halk taraf\u0131ndan \u201cGavuristan\u201d olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan Rhodiapolis, an\u00adtik Lykia Birli\u011fi’nin bir \u00fcyesiydi. Rahip, doktor, \u015fair ve de filozof olan Herakleitos, \u00fcn\u00fc bu k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck kasaban\u0131n s\u0131n\u0131rlar\u0131n\u0131 a\u015fan ve imparatorlu\u011fun en \u00f6nemli \u015fehirlerinden baz\u0131lar\u0131nda tan\u0131nan ve onurland\u0131r\u0131lan bir Rhodi\u00adapolis vatanda\u015f\u0131yd\u0131. \u015eu anda kay\u0131p olan s\u00f6z konusu yaz\u0131t, Herakleitos’un bir tap\u0131nak in\u015fa etti\u011fini, tanr\u0131 ve tanr\u0131\u00e7a heykelleri dikti\u011fini belirten bir ba\u015fka adamas\u0131d\u0131r.<\/p>\n
