Prometheus\u2019la kar\u015f\u0131\u00adla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z ilk kayna\u011f\u0131 Hesiodos olarak belirleyen yazar, Hesiodos\u2019un, tra\u00adgedya yazar\u0131 Aiskhylos\u2019un ve Platon\u2019un Prometheus mitosuna bak\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131 a\u00e7t\u0131ktan sonra aralar\u0131ndaki yakla\u015f\u0131m fark\u0131na ve mitosun de\u011fi\u015fimine dikkat \u00e7e\u00adkerek, kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131rmal\u0131 incelemesini yapmaktad\u0131r. Yaz\u0131l\u0131 gelenekteki d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00adler saptand\u0131ktan sonra g\u00f6rsel betim \u00f6rnekleriyle ili\u015fkisi ele al\u0131nmaktad\u0131r. Tanr\u0131 Zeus\u2019un \u00f6l\u00fcml\u00fclerin en g\u00fczeli olan Ganymedes\u2019e vurulup onu ka\u00e7\u0131rm\u0131\u015f olmas\u0131, mitosa farkl\u0131 yorumlar\u0131n getirilmesine neden oldu\u011fu belirtilmektedir.
